DUELING PIANOS IN THE ARENA DISTRICT

Columbus Ohio – The Arena District will be rockin’ January of '09 with the opening of The Big Bang Rock & Roll Dueling Piano Bar. The Big Bang, Columbus’ only Dueling Piano Bar, will take entertainment to a whole new level at The Arena District’s basement location.
Every night the show will come to life at The Big Bang, when some of the country’s best entertainers take a seat behind two grand pianos. The bar will feature a high-energy show combining comedy, music and audience participation to create a truly unique entertainment experience.
Often referred to as “human jukeboxes,” The Big Bang performers can do it all. Audiences are encouraged to request their favorite songs, and can expect to hear any and everything from Rock, to Pop, Alternative and Country. Because of its broad appeal to music lovers of all ages, The Big Bang promises to be a Columbus favorite for conventioneers and tourists, as well as locals and students.
“We’re thrilled to bring a new musical concept to the area,” says Big Bang President Steve Doherty. “Columbus is a great city for us, especially since we have such an incredible location in the Arena District. We’re excited to be a part of the tremendous growth that is taking place downtown.”
The Big Bang Columbus is the fourth location for the company, which started in St. Louis in 2001. The second location followed two years later in Tempe, Arizona, and the company’s third location opened in downtown Nashville in the spring of 2007.
